We are committed to supporting social causes, sustainability, and the advancement of our profession.

1. Social responsibility

MSK takes its social responsibility seriously. Every year, we support charitable organizations, with a particular focus on local initiatives suggested by our employees.

Fundraising campaigns

Every year, our team jointly selects the organizations we support as part of our fundraising campaigns. The amounts collected by our employees are then doubled by the company. Personal interaction is particularly important to us, which is why donations are usually handed over on site.

3. Promotion of the profession

Mathematical education and research are particularly important to MSK. We support our employees in their actuarial training, are members of various support associations, and support young mathematicians through various projects.

Support Association for Actuarial Mathematics in the Field of Motor Insurance e.V.  - VM4K

The association was founded on October 28, 2014, in Cologne.

The aim of the “Association for the Promotion of Actuarial Science in the Field of Motor Insurance” is to foster close networking between industry and research. A-levels project

For many students, mathematics at school is abstract, and it often takes a long time after leaving school to realize the opportunities that mathematical models open up in the workplace and society.

That is why we have been running the A-levels project regularly since 2016, in which students work with MSK employees to develop a mathematical model that can be used to predict A-level grades based on characteristics such as absences, annual progress grades, and age.
In this way, students not only learn about new areas of application for mathematics, but also gain initial experience in data science, a forward-looking field that is also behind the current development of artificial intelligence.

You can find more information about the project and how to participate in our information flyer: Download Flyer - PDF

Please note that the flyer is only available in German, as we are based in Germany and therefore work mainly with German schools.
